What to use to clean parts of my engine???

im buying throttlebody cleaner 2day and i was wondering what other parts of my engine can i use it on...

can it be used on my vtec solenoid??? i was told 2 use petrol but im not going to...

also my car needs a service so i was wanting to clean out my throttlebody, solenoid, etc...

is there any other products i need???

also wat other types of cleaners can i use???

I use a rag and WD40, spray and wipe the metal bits
then I ArmourAll all the rubber/plastic bits.

yeah clean ur throttle with carby cleaner or throttle cleaner .. same shiet.. and as for ur engine.. i reckon use petrol or degreaser. and as for the vtec solenoid are u gonna open it and clean inside it aswell or jsut the outside cause if u do clean the inside . i do not advise u to use petrol or carby cleaner on the inside becasue it will cause the seal to go puffy.. then u woudl have to buy a new one

WD40 or carb cleaner. Any de-greaser works. I use Dawn dish soap on everything as it isn't harmful to anything and washes off with water. Work great on the whole car.

wat i want to do aswell is clean out my engine bay... sooo much black sh*t in there.. for that just degreaser yeh??

Easyoff BAM is pretty good for shitty engine bays i find, spray it on, give it a poke and scrub with a dishwashing brush then hose it off.
