Hi,
Does anyone know what parts are interchangeable without or minor modifications (direct swap) for the parts below:
MY CAR = 88-91 MA2 Concerto with JDM B16A OBD1
Parts im seeking from either CIVIC/CRX/INTERGRA any year models.
-Shocks front & rear
-Front tower strut brace
-Headlights e.g. Angel eyes from 88-91 Civic/crx
-front and rear Seats e.g. Direct bolt on with the stock seat rails.
-calipers & rotors e.g. for a bigger brake upgrade.
-Radiators
-Instrument cluster (complete) if not just the RPM and Speedo mechanicals.
ive searched around and cant find shiat.
if u are lookin for coilover set up , you can run EG/DC2 JDM coilover set up but you need to run EG/DC2 front fork and EG6/DC2r Rear lower control arm

do you already have a front tower chassis brace? if you dont, you will need to drill holes, but anything from an integra, civ should fit.

i dont have a front tower brace yet, as im trying to find one that will fit as whiteline or other dont make them for my car.
i could possibly try the 88-91 civic/crx item.
GUYS - if you have any suggestions of my first post, please try and include the Year model of the cars you are suggesting.
cheers!

Guys - ive brought this up again as no one has properlly confirmed what is ok to use with what ..
but my main concern is BRAKES
Would i be able to straight swap a DC2 VTiR 262mm rotors onto an EG Si front brakes? how about the calipers?
what else will i need that will be compatible - if im using EG SI (240mm) front hubs, knuckles, rotors, calipers, forks????
as i want a bigger front brake upgrade.

You will definitely need to change the entire hubs, rotors, calipers from the dc2 vtir.
Take off your old hubs and replace with the dc2 vtir ones....

once i take them off, will it be a simple install/bolt on? what about the front LCA's? brake lines? shocks?

you can use EK coilover as well , what u need is EG front drop fork and machine the rear LCA if u use EK coilover
told u to come over and try my dc2 brakes .. pretty sure it was str8 bolt up .. u only need the forks as the shocks on eg/dc are thicker than ed/ef
it was no obligation to buy anyway .. that was the best bet if anythin works or not was to try it out

you best bet would be to test and fit what possible brake package that would fit, obviously you will need car stands, jacks, tools etc to complete this job.
Then afterwards, thats how u will resolve and find out what fits or not.
this is what i had to do t my 1993 MA3 concerto. but still i didnt get to finish off test trial fitting as i didnt have enough time.
NOTE: JUST BECAUSE IT BOLTS ON AND "FITS" DOESNT MEANT IT'S RIGHT !!
when mixing and matching suspension and braking components, everything might bolt-up but you're altering the suspension geometry and physics of the car/chassis itself.
be very carefull or you could be making your ride into a death-trap and actually making the handling characteristics of the vehicle worse.
The safest way is to keep to your generation and platform.
The Concerto is based on the EF/ED civic platform.. so is the DA integra.. so then most components from these cars will fit perfectly to your vehicle. Converting to EG/DC spec is not nescesarilly a good thing..
p.s. when swapping suspension and brake components, ALWAYS tighten bolts to the correct torque settings as outlined in the Honda factory manual. If using (for example) EK hubs on and EG chassis - use the EK torque settings).
