There is probably a good reason for not having this, or maybe not possible?

but i was wondering if there is anyway to highlight correct (or most likely correct) answers in threads..

My example is from the euro forums since this is where i typically live :P

eg

someone was asking if HID lights were auto adjusting, a lot of people posting back with suggestions / comments etc until one person actually got the manual out and quoted from the book about it.

-----------
Would it be possible to allow the user/mod to highlight (maybe in green or something) the most helpful/likely answer that helped them?

It obviously wont relate to all threads..and im sure all the other comments were valid, but wondering if this is a feature that could be added?

hmmm that might sound good in theory but in practice you would have to rely on the moderators to know the answers to everything..... and they dont

If you feel it is right, just ask the poster to highlight it using the xxxxx tag.

yeah i would expect the poster to do it,
as opposed to the mod's would take way too much time..so i understand that
hmm..im not sure enough about vbulletin...but u know how you see on other sites

9 out of 12 people found this post useful...

and then u can do the same thing...say whether its helpful or not..

is it possible to implement something like that...

i spose its just and idea for the future

It's upto the poster IMO. Mods dont have all the answers :)

This is one reason we discourage off topic replies...so the reader doesn't have to read through pages of OT stuff :)
