Be imaginative. It can be moved and almost made to disappear but its a hard task. ;)

thats what im trying to do
tried to move it so it goes on the sid near the window area BUT,
ithink the angle make it rev higher and like uno its like your accelerating!
all good if its hard willing to try, just trying to make that disappear, well not disappear but so it doesnt cover the rocker cover

I moved mine man and had the same problem with it revving up. You just need to adjust the cable and make sure that when you do put your foot down the spring can pull the cable back to 0.

ooo where you move yours too? got pics!
so get a tighter spring on the accel pad?
atm ive got it against the wall of the car which is cool, but looks chatty cos its hitting against the battery. and it just doesnt look as good as i though so looking at other ways or places

Nah i don't have any pics but it comes outta the firewall near the BMC and then goes down behind the Intake Manifold and then up to the throttle body.
You don't need to get a new spring or anything just adjust the nuts on the throttle cable where it connects to the braket on the intake manifold.

ooo
damn im using ths stock one,
being trying to figure out where to put it, the wire from filter to injector rails is to short to move around! @#$%@%
PS..
shoudl the wires bu done the the front fenders?
JasonGilholme
30-11-2006, 03:01 PM
YA! Down the fenders bro!
Don't even try movin the OEM fuel filter. You really need to change the setup entirely to get it outta the way.
Don't be scared about extending wires. Just make sure you do it one at a time and you match the wire for thickness and quality(especially when doing sensor wires).
Gettin into my tuck soon ;)

yeh my plan,
first i guess ill do the wires first before i wory about anything
yeh im gna cut all the sockets of and extend the wires hide em via fenders.
im worried about the wires which go from left to right where to hide those?

APARENTLY! you can tuck an eg without even extending any wires but i dunno how.
I'd leave the plugs on there man. You'll get sick of soldering wires in no time. Plus if anything ever goes wrong and you need to test anything you can always pull the plug. Much easier then cuttina wire :D

30-11-2006, 04:31 PM
yeh thats true, i think i might just leave the plugs,
i guess i got the sides covers but
the wires im worried about is :
efi system to left shock tower, where to hide this?
vtec wires ti right shock tower area.
yep im gna extend the wires for sure. just worried how im gna hide the wires which fo left to right.
im planning to make a box for the battery so thats hidden and the wires going to it will be hidden coz i cbf putting it in the boot
any suggestions for hiding the above will be helpfull!
JasonGilholme

Battery to the boot fo sho brov!
Its easy as. And if you do it correctly its totally street legal as well.
Theres less work in moving the battery then what there is tuckin the whole bay.
I'm not sure what wires your talkin about in particular. Chances are you'll need to un-loom them and sperate each individual loom to make life a little easier. Once thats done you'll see what you need to extend and what not.

yeh maybe later i guess but for now ill keep it there..
the wires im talking about is
when looking at an engine bay right
your EFI has wires going to the left shock tower..
WHERE SHOULD I HIDE THIS!
say VTEC wires go to right shock tower
WHERE SHOULD I HIDE THIS!
like i knoe i can hide it but i guess i want someone to tell em the best place to hide it!
all the looms have been cut out and aint tangled.

Ahh yeah i know the one. this is all apart of your main engine harness isn't it?
You should run these along the firewall underneath the BMC and down behind the intake manifold. Kinda messy back there but its do able.

heres a tip man, take your time and think outside the box.

IMO a tuck is an on going thing that changes as you add mods. Its not like you jack the car up, do it and then rock it.
Its ever changing and growing.

aiight
ive basically finished the left shock tower,
seems like i need more wires.. and today is freakn hot! so ive stopped continue tmz..
BUT damn it looks so neat! all that i need to do now is the right shock tower and the middle part which connects most of the sensors then im done!
maybe 3 more days work! since i dont work on it the whole day! have taken fotos will post a DIY
