Problem is the timing.....
the timing retards it self to -6 every gear change. and theres no option on the hand controller to disable that.
But its running alot better now

how does that give you flatspots and a bad vtec crossover if the timing is just being changed when off throttle?

I dont know man, it just does as wierd as it may sound..
But as far as on the road theres no more flat spots...
Only in the dyno can it be seen

whoosh!

i had the same problem.... power fc for hondas is mainly built for honda na application...can be tuned but will cost alot or not run properly.

get urself a tuner who knows what they are doing with it, ive never heard so much crap about the pfc not working on a turbo honda.

It running ok now..
the hand controller is not realy the ideal why to tune a turbo setup but is it...
Im getting a few things them its back to another tuner with the powerexel software to tune it properly with laptop..

remember the dyno does not always equal the road, its only a machine that tries to replicate the road environment, also making it alot safer at the same time.

I've tuned a fair whack of the pfc on turbo hondas here in melbourne, what function/table are you looking at specifically from the power xcel software that would help you tune it better that the hand controller cant provide?

The timing kept dropping to 6, 7 degrees betwen gear changes that was the main problem.
and no were in the map does it go that low...

But apart from that its running ok

whoosh!

locote, without being at the car its hard to give you a diagnosis, but ill try. Firstly , on gear shifting, the loss of 6-7 degrees would not show on the dyno graph as the ramping is done whilst in gear, so the dips are not caused by this, sounds like a totally unrelated matter.

The timing is displayed in my controller..
