yeah i have searched on the websites...and read a few swap guides...
Q. if i just get the h22 motor and the ECU to run it would that be fine can i just drop it in and use all the other parts already in my cb7....
and if i do this i am looking to work it over a bit while the engine is out.....i plan to get some headers(DC are good enough) and skunk2 intake mani and 68mm throttle body, cam shafts and retainers will wait for later....just not sure what computer i should go for to tune it....would something like a vafc2 work well...

I don't know what h22a has sent you....
but, without even going into the the very detail bit about enhancing the car, by putting a H22A in a CB7, you will definitely need a transmission that is strong enough to cope with the power (the original CB7 transmission would not last long),
and for safety......you will have to replace the brakes (both discs and pads) with bigger disc (ventilated would be best) and better brake pads coz you will need extra braking power.
have fun with the new H22A

I don't know what h22a has sent you....
i sent him a link for the ozaccord website, where we have a h22a swap thread with loads of advice that would answer any questions he may have without having to repeat it all here.
As for tranny and brakes. stick with the standard ones. they will be fine as long as you dont abuse them ( which counts for any car )

I think I posted this link on the ozaccord thread too. But here's a big faq/guide for the cb7.

Gearbox and brakes should be fine. I don't even have rear discs on mine like all the audm cb7's have and my swap is engineered. You just get other benefits with the h22a box like the better ratios and possibly lsd.

hey i just have one more question......when wiring up the vtec do u run it through the rest of the engine loom or can u just wire it straight to the ECU....and does anyone have a vtec wire up guide

Wiring it in the loom would probably look neater. But more effort. That link I posted up has all you need for wiring vtec.

when adding the vtec wiring you could make the wiring up into a new loom along with the IAB sensor and Knock sensor.
as for the vtec wiring..here it is.
VTEC selonoid sensor near distributor green/yellow on prelude harness > pin A4 on ECU
VTEC pressure switch sensor near distributor :light blue on prelude harness > pin D6 on ecu
black/red > ground

cool thanx for the info...thing is when i do my swap i am only going to be getting the motor and not the whole front cut so im not sure if there is going to be a loom at all.....i guess im gonna have to source a prelude h22 loom....
the reason im not getting the front cut is because im using my trannie and a/c - p/s so all i need is the motor and the ECU to run it

That's fine. As long as both sides of the plugs are still attached to the motor you should be right. Just run your own wires to the pics mentioned above.

You wont be able to use your accord power steering pump. track down a h22a prelude pump and hose then get the top half of the prelude hose connected with the lower part of the accord power steering hose- ( pirtek/enzed etc )
Any honda loom wiring will work for the extra wiring you need to add for extra sensors- find some at a wreckers etc. the main reason most people use the wiring out of a prelude loom is for the correct colours that go to sensors for ease of identification in the future.

i know you prob got it all sorted by now but yes you can use the f22 tranny it will hold fine, ive got a stock f22a g/box on a f23b vtec turbo running 15 psi and it is loving it, but i will advise to get the cluch done, and brakes,, im running stock bracks and $30 pads and it stops on a dime, so i dont think you need to worry bout any of that, and yes mine is a cb7

yeah i know but i am getting biger rotor at the front because they need resurfacing so i thought why not just get new bigger ones......since the h22 thats going in will be worked a little..
list of mods:

skunk2 stage1 cams + retainers

if your doing all that why dont you just go for a full stand alone ecu? (eg. i got a ems ecu, got rid of all the standard stuff)
