injector issue

hey guys ive got a bit of an issue.. recently i had my car tuned with a hondata s100 and on the way home from the workshop my number 2 injector stopped working... i got the car home and after ringing honda the next day to find out they want $300 for a new b18c injector, i went for the cheaper option and used a b16a injector that my mate had lieing around

Innitially it worked fine but occasionally just on random occasions it stopped working and the car went WRX for a few minutes, then all of a sudden back to normal :confused: ..

and last night under full throttle it was ok for the first few goes and then after that under full load it would go until about 6-7 and just majorly bog and struggle to keep the rpm increasing,,

Now my question is if anyone might kno why this is occuring.. could it be the b16a injector not being the right size?... had a quick check of the wiring already and it seems to be ok but im gonna have a real good look on the weekend..

i'd say double check your wiring to your injector.
your using a b18c?
did you use a conversion harness or cut and shut the wires?

I'd be taking it back to the person who installed the s100 & telling them to sort it out.

Prob opened up the injector pin in the ecu connectors or similar.

B18 & 16 use the same size injectors.

thanks guys.. wiring seems to be the most likely option right now so once i check that out maybe ill get some answers..

move the injectors around... will tell you for sure if it's an injector
