Wat are ur thoughts on mini me conversions?????? They seem to be a thing in the states??? Was wondering if the bottom end would be able to cope with the extra rpms

i'm sure this is very doable..since the price probably won't cost that much for this conversion
but how are the gains?
don't most people just got for whole b16a or whole b18

no i am talking about wat i said just before. u could not put a b16 head on a single cammer for the fact it is a dohc head

Sorry bout last post i am tired and on 2 forum sites. Well on the site that i was looking at the guy had a 15.9 timeslip which i think would be better then a d15 vtec swap. Well how much would a head cost????? that is the only price needed worrying about. so does any1 know wat a z6 head is?

u get more compression also.
swap over the tranny and intake manifold at the same time.

A guy in Japan put a L13A (1.3) i-DSi head on a L15A (1.5) vtec block to make a 1.5 i-DSi.

Don't know what the gains were but it seems pretty stupid to me? I don't know why he didn't just go vtec for life maing?

yeah like u said weq u do get a higher compression which sounds good to me, but i am still wondering bout bottom end holding up coz i know it dnt like 2 in the crvtec. Wat tranny would u swap too and they say it is also a good idea to swap exhaust manifold. And yeah it was off d-series.org. How much u think for the head?

mini-Me will get you raised compression. retain VTi gearbox as it has the shortest ratios of the AUSDM EG's.. Intake maniffold is good design also - throw away the stock headders and get some stainless items.. I'd say this combo with some tuning and a good job done could net power around 140-150HP at the Fly.. with more low down torque than the B16A..

wow didn't think u would be hitting that hp mark, so do u think it is a better option just to swap the whole d16y1 in or do the mini me???? i was thinking mini me to be different and if wat vtechnique is saying bout the hp sounds a better option
