my car runs a 'std' D16A3 now...for everyone who was wondering
so what
ur running a standard d16a3 now?
is that the result of u pumpin 18psi into the engine?
you should really have a dedicated thread to your machine..
like list its history, past mods, current mods etc..
i am sure a lot of people will find it informative and intereting. :)
Std internals would have had little to do with it IMO
What was the turbo setup and how was it tuned? Its usually being boost-happy or a poor tune that kills engines

the damage was actually caused by a streched big end bolt...
i.e: over revving...

i forgot to mention that the lower part of the conrod managed to find its way through the bore and into fresh air all by itself!
i found it sitting on the bash plate!
ahhhh well, the joys of turbo Hondas :)
Mind you i figure might as well turbo them, seeing as my bro's lude bent valves cos of the cam belt snapping. Might as well blow it while boosted i say!

Nice job there, tho it's not the worst blowup I've seen.
