View Full Version : Clear Car Bra film

anyone use this before? i saw some of these in rolls selling at autobarn. looks pretty thin and im guessing it would stock minor scratches and small rocks.

wonder if its worth getting some,

also how long do i have to wait before i stick this onto a new resprayed car ?

yea i saw that, doesnt really answer my qns on clear bra. thanks anyways

The clear coat is 100% cured by 90 days at most, depending on weather and humidity. I would wait until that 90 days is over. After that go for it. Almost all new cars sold here in the U.S., or here in Colorado, come stock with the clear bra. Well worth the $30-$50USD.

My mum has the clear film on her black car, but I can't stand the noticeable line that shows up where the film stops. This is probably less noticeable on a lighter colour. As it is, I'd rather have stone chips.

if you buy the cheep film it will burn in the sun turn brown on a light car and make swirl marks look more noticeable on a dark car u can stick it on straight away peeling it off is the issue
