if your capable of putting a dent in a sump, yoru capable of snapping that thing off, then no oil :(

I don't think that it is worth it. Removing the sump bolt is very easy to do and is relatively "clean" (compared to the drips that you get from the oil filter)

This is more useful: http://www.speedbleeder.com/

US$7 each for brass, US$15 for stainless steel.

skid plate/under tray/whatever its called would fix that.

I'd be more worried about the people that hate you/your car and know you have that. Easy to drain your oil with out you knowing. I'll keep the bolt.

Screw the bleeder, quick connects ftw!!

you must have quite a few enemies to be that paranoid. theres this thing i like to believe in called karma.

What have you done to deserve having your oil leaked out of your car?

anyways good replies, thanks for the info. The one about it getting hit and snapping off is a very valid point.

i managed to find this from a subaru forester website, i guess their cars aren't so low to the ground haha

Those who work at high school as a teacher are very prone to losing oil from their cars. Check out the "worse things you've done at school" thread.

It's the U.S.A., people here don't need a reason to screw with your car, they are mostly jealous and wish they had it and so they think you shouldn't have it. I don't worry myself, she is never alone and my 45 will be happy to help anyone to the next life!

in an ideal world of course noone would want to do it, but the reality is people dont need to hate you to do stuff like that, there are mofos out there who will do it just for the hell of it.
