I dunno if its just coincidence or something else but I thought there would be no harm in asking.
Lately while driving i will hear a knocking sound (the sound you get when a rock hits your window) on the passenger side of the car.
I wonder if anybody could elaborate whether this could be a problem or is it just coincidence that a rock is hitting my window and im just paranoid.

probably just a loose thing in the door. maybe the power window module came loose and is hitting against the door frame.

or could be small stones hitting the insides of the guards , making a "TING" noise sometimes. Who knows - if you can distinguish exactly WHERE and WHEN the noises happen ( for example , FRONT RIGHt while driving or RIGHT FRONT while sitting static) we can get somewhere and address possible issues.
Or you might just be paranoid - happens after owning a car too long , you start to notice ALL sorts of noises no one else can hear ( like over muffler noise etc).

most probably your cv joints, does it happen on turns or when travelling straight?? if its when your turning its your cvs, could also be your wheel bearing..

cv joints shouldnt make any sounds whilst travelling straight, only when u turn u know ur cvs are stuffed or need replacing when they start to click when turning.
jack ur car, support it, and inspect the outer cvs to see if the boots are cracked you'll know their cracked when there's grease everywhere.
does the sound come from the back or the front of the car?
are you in gear?
do you notice it only when ur at XXXX rpm?
