hey guys,
I have an EJ8 and i want my rocker cover to have V-Tec written on it like other cars do.
The one i have at the moment is just plain with honda written on it..
Does any one know if/where i can get a rocker cover with V-Tec written on it? just the standard one.

If you are going to be rude, no one is going to help you.
egSI said to get the rocker cover off a d16y1. Even so, that will only say VTEC. If you want V-Tec, you will need to use a high temperature marker pen to write it on your current rocker cover.

this question WILL come up so im gonna be the first one up:
WHY for the love of a HONDA would you want a Vtec rocker cover on a non-vtec car?? its like putting mugen sticker on a toyota or a trd sticker on a lancer!

bah - proved I know nothing of the new Civic engines... anyway....
wouldn't the bolt pattern/gasket design be different?

d16y1 (older model EG civics) & d16y8 (later models EG coupe), d16y8 throttle body is bigger but a lil

They are the same....
D16Y1,Y4,Y5,Y8 use the same rocker cover design/stud patten/gasket,etc
The only different is the Y1 got the Vtec words on it
so it's a direct bolt on and give you an instant 10kw more atw!!!!
btw,i believe it is what you want(pics borrowed from ozhonda forum DIY theread)
