New Carpet Not Happy EG5 plastic thingy WTF

Hay guys

I just got my car re-carpeted but I'm not that happy...

The carpet guys said there should be a plastic thingy that sits over the ECU and likewise on the other side that covers that area so the carpet doesn’t look half done

Here's a pic not of my car but to show the spot, my new carpet doesn’t cover that area much and it looks crap!!

all i know that theres a plastic / bracket that holds down the ECU. but thats abit lower, near the floor.

mine DEFINATELY should have carpet over it theres just a plastic bracket for the edge to stretch the carpet to the side

My accord has a plastic piece that goes there. Possibly they're getting confused....idiots.

luke.. its a def that there is plstic that holds the carpet to the ecu area.. so that - ecu is covered. hope that helps...
btw..wut happens to ur old carpet..coz it has the plastic thinggy.. prolly they didnt realise and chuck it!?!

Yeah the old gry carpet was yuk lol but I pulled it out myself and there was no plastic thingy but the car was in quite crap con when I got is so you never know whats been lost

Hes fixed it quite well by making little velcro pocket things :thumbsup:

i just sold my black plush pile for $150
i would be taking it back to get fixed it should cover all the way past your ecu. Good luck with it

I ve got a EG5 and that bit is looked exactly like urs, i reckon urs is very good, mine one is not that much better than urs, so, take it easy mate!
