S 2000 paint codes HELP PLEASE

Please help
i did a search but no posts for s 2000 paint codes

I need the original paint code for my 99 white s 2000?
i know there should be a sticker but none to be seen.

And since we r on the subject post up all the colours
and codes might be helpful to other members.

Check under your bonnet on the build date plate i think its there. it will be either premium white or more likely taffetta white.

passengers door, there should be a sticker with some codes on it. write that down.

If your car is white tho, it will be GPW = Grand Prix White.

Sorry guys only going on other Honda whites. I have actually worked on or evenseen a white S2K in SA. At least it gave you a laugh

as edgeauto says you can find the paint code on the build date plate under the engine bay.

2 questions...

1. Is this the OEM yellow for the S2000?

There's 2 yellows depending on the market.

Spa & Rio

I'd think that's Rio?

Current OEM yellow is Indy Yellow Pearl. Anyone got any hi-res pics of that? This is the only one I found.

Thanks for your help guys. I'll get the AP2 yellow paint code tomorrow and get a sample mixed up to test. So AP2 is Indy Yellow Pearl as per the Honda brochure?

IIRC Indy Yellow & Spa are the same.

Rio is different.

There was that breif moment when the DC5S was released in CW. Weird though as I thought CW was reserved for Type Rs only. :confused:
