mounting 8" screen

sup guys got my hand on a 8" screen ...

now i gotta find a good way to mount it that wont be in the way when driving but somethin i can take off and store when i am parked

i own a dc2 any1 done this aswell

I think it's going to be largely up to you where you mount it; find some brackets that will fit your new-found 8" screen, and see what you can think of :)

if u can, sell it and buy a 7" super monitor off ebay or the response 7" which is the same, just rebranded. Fits perfectly into the double din area.

you can use velcro to hold it in and then remove it when u leave the car.

Also, if you ditch the ashtray and the ciggy lighter, the stand that comes with the screen holds the screen in place perfectly.

Just have the screensaver as a picture of a stock tapedeck. Perfect for when theives look in. Haha

But really, you could always have it mounted permanently, and use a modded face of a stock unit that is velcroed over the top of the screen or something, if you catch my drift. Or a screen you can flip over.

ive got a double din... y dont u get that screen shutter like the new cars.. u pull down and looks like u got nothing there.. looks like its the interior..
thats what ive done. looks pretty good
