Turbo :p

Na maybe more aggressive CAM's and Underdrive pulleys
Or an organic clutch and lightweight flywheel

Cams. They are a reasonable price once you have an aftermarket ECU and a tuner to go to. When your clutch wears out, replace the flywheel at the same time.

work on ur bottom end, forgies.

Is that doable for 3k? 3k sounds like just enough for parts!

What exhaust and headers u have ? had high flow cat already?
em may be a lighten flywheel, nice clutch.
LSD may be, final drive may be.

Get a HD clutch and flywheel, a nice set of spec b cams and give it another tune. Or you can do abit more on handling mods like sways/struts, better brakes or tyres.

with only that much cash and NA, you MIGHT be able to feel the diffrence ur mods make.

do cams work with turbo? because i might go down the turbo path next year after i save some more money

No need for cam gears unless you running some aftermarket camshafts. And with 3000 to spend you WILL feel the difference if you choose the right mods.

ok i've defiantly decided that im going to build up to the turbo but for now im just after some mods which will give me something new to play with in the meantime - they would have to be able to work with the turbo setup tho.

Don't touch the internals until you have a full plan. It's a big waste of money doubling up on labour every time you have to take the head off and replace gaskets/seals. Plus if you just slap stuff on/in haphazardly without harmonising your choices towards the ultimate goal, you'll end up with a half-rate build. You're better off working on other areas of your car now and saving up for a large budget to get the rest (Block/head/turbo) done all at once.

Personally while you have a reasonably large lump sum hanging around, I'd invest in a more costly aspect of handling and just put $200 here and there towards struts etc later on down the track. $3k "should" get you a lightweight flywheel ($400), heavy duty clutch ($400) and an aftermarket LSD ($1400) installed ($500). I bet you'll get a lot more positive feedback from those mods than $3k worth of power mods, plus it'll make more power in the future feel and handle a lot better.
