I didn't think it's legal to change airbag steering wheels anywhere in Oz.

I know its illegal to change to a non-airbag equiped wheel but not certain about changing from airbag to airbag.

The vast majority of aftermarket steering wheels are ilegal, airbag or nay. If any metal surfaces are exposed it is ilegal. Not that this is relevant when comparing a stock vehicle wheel, but just thought I'd add it for anyone else interested. Also, I can't see any reason why the steering wheel would vary much. Just adds to production costs unnecessarily. Try comparing visually.. where the studs line up...

Actually the QLD modification guide states that it is legal to exchange an airbag wheel for a non-airbag wheel as long as it was fitted by the manufacturer as an option on that model.
