I agree, that car looks better than 99% of the cars at auto salon, Sydney Auto salon that is, Tokyo AS different story :)

It races against all other competing cars in its class... FR/MR-NA
That is front engine rear drive or mid engine rear drive - Normally Aspirated.
Realistically, that can be anything that suits that type of class reg.
I.e.: NSX, GT2 Porche, RX8, 350Z etc etc...
So long as it's rear drive & NA, it's eligible for that class.
Obviously there are other classes too for front drivers & turbocharged cars.

how about this, next time your girlfriend asks you how good her boobs look in her new dress, say her boobs are functionly fashionable, as is her dress.
at the same time, why don't you show her a picture of that car and see what she thinks.
She probably wouldn't like it, she probably would even call it ugly. If she thinks its good looking, then i probably know why you two are together, and what you look like, but i'm sure you're perfectly functional.

I'm not sure if you'll find me pretty, but a lot of guys do. i'm asian so i don't think that helps.

As a matter of fact they do sell it, but not on it's own.
The basic ASM carbon hood is sold on it's own & it looks like this:

You'd be looking at approx $4200 for the carbon verion & $2000 for the FRP (Landed)
The GT bonnet you like the look of is only available as part of the full 05 GT kit.

This is a no nonsence race kit, maded from high intensity pre preg carbon fibre in an autoclave.
At 3,150,000yen, the cost is up there...
The landed cost here would be around $45,000 with taxes & feight paid.
The 06 GT kit is not yet available.
