yes it had RPM problem..kept shifting to the next gear at 5500rpm, wen VTEC kicks in.. i dnt know where my jazz is made...doesn't really matter now coz the manual conversion is almst finished jst waiting on a stronger clutch...and a custom shortshifter...i prefer manual over CVT (auto)...

I had a VTI CVT for a loan car for a day .C ompared to my manual jazz... Its sucks, give a very weird sinsation of acceleration . And personally don't like it. The paddles are just a joke.
But for people that can't drive manual, no hard feelings hey

wat actual problem of the CVT u guys actually had?? coz i had mine 05 Vti CVT jazz for over a year and it already done nearly 40k km and it hasnt got any problem. but one thing is some times at the start run, then the car will reverse a bit then goes forward , it just felt like in the" N" gear

the cvt's are shit to drive anyway, however i guess they might be better than full auto (obviously havent driven a full auto jazz)
there have been a few problems with it. honda has a special transmission fluid to help with the problems... however honda AUSTRALIA doesnt have it. apparently theres not enough of the stuff to go around and australia being a small market isnt exactly a priority for honda
