What would be a suitable TB upgrade on a D16Y4 , I want a direct bolt on if possible?;)

skunk2 is a popular option these days, they fit fine on the d16y4 as far as i know. they have plenty of sizes avaiable depending on your engine setup

Thanks for the link but i am after a TB swap from another honda engine (ie: B series)?

If the b-series will fit drop on a GSR or ITR, they are the same I do believe, but I think the b-series has a different bolt pattern and different lines. The IACV or other vales are on the manifold for the b-series and on the t.b. for the d-series. If they do work on each other and you want something more extreme try a Skunk2, Edelbrock, BBK, or whatever else you can find.

i'm pretty sure the b-series should bolt in, not sure about sensors etc

my old d16a8 TB fits fine on my b16a IM (ahhh the things u find out when you are bored)

Yes that is correct just use a later model B16A TB on the D series manifold that will take it upto 60mm and the ITR one is 62mm,Weq's D series turbo engine is fitted with the Skunk2 intake manifold and Dyno Dave fitted a modded B16A TB as its a direct replacement for the throttle cables and sensor's.

Thanks fellas.... so basically I should source a TB froma newer model B16 and it should be a direct swap using my OEM manifold/sensors, etc??
