HID conversion for EK1

Hi guys,
Has anyone done this, i have used the search function but it wasn't really helpful. Anyone i'm sure that it isn't just buying a bulb and replacing it, anyone got better ideas and is it hard for a DIY once i get the parts. (note: i'm not that good with handy stuff).
Also anyone know the price for one of these, would prefer a jap assembled and parts kit not one of those yum cha brand. Cause they aren't built that good?? (could be wrong)

only way to get quality parts is to do an hid retrofit. Go to hidplanet.com/forums for more information on that, or just search on here for hid retrofit... I'm sure you'll come across or post or three by me.

To do this properly requires a lot more than an hid drop in kit like you see on ebay and such. Remember, HID bulbs belond in headlights designed for HIDs. You stock EK headlights are designed for halogen bulbs, so HIDs will not work well in them, unless you are integrating parts of of headlights designed for HIDs.
