Do you know how many bunny's that don't have a clue that this board has posting on it ? =p I'd be negligent for not mentioning it =p

When i say it's illegal, I mean you arn't even allowed to havea kit in your car.

Despite the fact that I'm not too knowledgeable in the area you should be able to run a wet 60 shot without any modifications I think. pornstar has writen a good article on it on the forums, do a search for it.

I'm not 100% on this but I've been told you can have the kit in your car, If you have an approved safety kit fitted at all times that prevents easy use on the street. Again I'm not 100% so I don't need any arsehole comments if I'm wrong.

Dunno about other states but I asked vic roads and this was what they said to me

I have been asked to reply to your email regarding the legality of Nitrous
oxide systems fitted to a motor vehicle.

The EPA have advised that the use or fitment of a Nitrous Oxide kit to a
vehicle is not permitted and is illegal. It would appear that this would
prohibit any components of a Nitrous Oxide kit from being fitted to a motor
vehicle. VicRoads have advised people wanting to fit Nitrous Oxide kits
accordingly.

If you require more detail on under what circumstances, if any, a Nitrous
kit or part thereof may be allowed it is recommend you contact the EPA.

Regards

John Grasso

I assume because the EPA is involved it's country wide ...

Ive got the dyno sheet, but i know there is alot of in-balance between different dyno's.

10 geez? Last I heard, it was around $1,500 in NSW, but this was a while back. AVGAS runs some serious fines (more than nos)

It has always been my understanding (again from a NSW perspective) that you are allowed to have the system/components in the car, however the bottle CAN NOT be connected to the lines.

Maybe watch the fast and the furious again and get some pointers on how to fit a stealth nos system?!

a stock h22a with intake and cat back will give u about 110kw at the wheels on most dyno's here.
b4 u go into the world of nos make sure ur compression is up to it.
about 180-220 for 4 cylinders even is good

goodluck getting 128kw@wheels with a cat-back and intake on an otherwise standard engine! I think 40hp shot of nos is fine with GOD TUNING, anything more you'll have take the head off and strengthen the bottom end!
