hi i just installed a 2nd hand s12 twin loop muffler onto my civic vtir and i have noticed low end to be losing power. Is this possible or is it just my imagination. Piping size im not too sure but its around 2 inch like standard. There is also a fuel smell problem like in one of the old threads here.

yep axle back. What size is your piping?

It's probably my pod that lose low end power.

fink its 2.25 or even jus 2
stock size is 1.75?
axel back wont affect to much... its the last straw of the exhaust.

imo the twinloop does seem to be a lil bit restrictive... but u should be losing topend power instead of low end.

i used to have a s10 and s12 and now i've just got a straight thru and it revs out a lot smoother.

Axle back WILL affect a cars output significantly , if the muffler or piping is significantly restrictive or free flowing.
I think the X force "copy" muffler is restrictive :)

hmm....wat im feeling is probably the extreme hot weather + exposed pod. Will put entire stock intake system back in......and see how that will feel:thumbsup:

hmm...i have installed my entire stock intake system back in...and it seems it was the pod. Must have been driving much faster n more torque cars....makes my b16a feel very sluggish.
