02 Civic GLi Fog lights and spoiler

Hi guys, I am rather new here and utterly clueless about most things honda. My search showed nothing that was of any use to me, but I may just be looking in the wrong place.

I have an 02 Civic GLi sedan and I was thinking about getting foglights and a OEM style spoiler. I called Honda and they quoted me 1200 for just the spoiler and 520 for the foglights. And installation will cost another 400 bucks.
Which other places would stock these parts, and who would do the installs as I dont trust me to do it myself?

Hey mate,

As for spoiler + foggies, have u checked out the wreckers? They'd have them cheaper but not necessarily your colour. as for spoiler, they'll need to drill into the rear boot, hence the labour. And as for foggies, they'll need to do some smple wiring. there are some DIY kings on OH.

Hawthorn, Melbourne - so anything in the eastern suburbs would be good.

No I havent checked at the wreckers, thanks for that I will give a few a call. I understand the labour for the parts and I dont mind paying a few hundred for a professional install, I was just hoping to not spend as much on the parts themselves, I would rather spend that extra on my audio set up.

well yeah, wrecker first for the wing. foggies will be harder though.

as for install, i'm not sure of any well 'known' Ozhonda installers in melb. if u were in sydney, then i'd recommend the usual lot.

but for the wing, i'd suggest taking it to the panel beater as they will need to put holes in the boot, as most of us dont have the tools required.

some good wreckers i've heard in melb are imlachs, hondworld. hondwreck are soso (cos they're rude).
