Is it soft cottony cloth, kind of plasticy, or what? I had marks on my roof trim (called the headliner) from touching with dirty hands. Removed with turps/metho.
Could also just try carpet shampoo if it's soft cotton, I suppose. Or soap and water/vinegar and water.

I've used the steam cleaner on it before and it works...
Drawback is that the seat takes a while to dry....
Chemical Free though!

It's cloth trim on roof as you said headliner. I think carpet shampoo is too strong for those kind of trim. And it will leave white marks on trim i think. Thanks for your advice.
Hi EuroAccord13:wave: , steam cleaner sounds great. Sad coz i dont have one:o may b borrow from my mate and try it. Thanks for the tip. And i really appreciate for removing unwanted replies. You did really a great job:thumbsup:
Is there any stain remover products from ArmorAll or any other brands.
I dont know if it will work on your stain, but ive had a lot of success using eucalyptus oil believe it or not. I had a rust stain in the cloth trim on my wifes Accord that nothing would get out until i used the eucalyptus. Then one of my kids got gum on the seat and the oil got that out too. Left no residue, and i had clear sinuses all day.

Hi,
Once, I had the same problem with black markings on the roof linen after I got the car back from service. I used Lexol leather cleaner to clean it off with great success. Eventhough it is a leather cleaner, it is like a very mild soap.
