I've searched around, but cant find anything anywhere.
Does anyone know of any changes to the MY07 model over the 06 model?

doubt there would be much changes, if not any at all
the change came only last year for the 06 model from the previous 03-05 so i dont think there would be much difference, cosmetic or otherwise

i didnt expect any cosmetic changes as you said there was the 06 change, just sometimes there little things and maybe diff wheels or something,

I reckon the red was a bit too oldish. But the dark blue was hot. Too bad it came only with the beige interior.
Mocha... I hope it's like the DC5S's bronze.

You can actually see it in the Honda website (must have been added recently)

Mochas not too bad, considering all the crap colours that could have been offered instead like champaigne, dark old people red or green.
Or even worse something like that sky blue on the new camry. That is terrible.

Once you convert their rating to ours, it's the same. But, they have ethanol in almost all their fuel including their 93PON. At least we don't have any ethanol.

True - they even have E90 in some places now - 90% ethanol fuel.

^ for instance Brazil who have been using 100% Ethanol or a high mix of Petrol+Ethanol for years.

Strange how Aus hasn't converted to Ethanol as well, dont we have heaps of sugarcane resources?

i knew in south america they were using up to E90
but in the states still it was 'regular' fuel hmmm

E90 is different to petrol. E90 is bioethanol. US petrol is usually E5 or E10 across the range.
VirIIx
04-01-2007, 10:46 PM
GM also produces the majority of those exports to Brazil, so another question would be, if that technology and production already exists.. why don't we all just goto E90 in Australia and have GM just roll out those models?
Ahh well..
EuroDude
05-01-2007, 08:31 AM

Because all their sugarcane resources go Pepsi and CocaCola lol
Na seriously, its probably because the greedy government prefers Petrol because they make billions from their fuel tax, just like Aus..

Graphite>Black>Mocha>Blue>White>the rest

^ for the Standard Euro, I find that the tan is better than the black. When I drove a Std loan car with black, the seat fabric looked kindof cheap. Although the black interior looks find with the lux's black leather. But thats just my opinion :p

black need a lot of TLC compare to other colours.

07-01-2007, 08:09 AM
I've seen too much Graphite on the streets. I know it's popular color but it's just too common. Black is fewer and looks mean on Euro, all I need to do is put 18' wheels and lower it to make it looks meaner
That's just my opinion though. I can't wait to get my Euro delivered few days from now :D

He he.. there are just too many Euro's on the road IMO.. lots of the new 06 ones with the massive chrome :thumbdwn:
Lots of graphite and blacks around as always, rarely see any of the other colours. Red if it's the sport variant.
Why did they even move away from the nice jdm looking alloys to that ugly US looking one?
That was such a bad move..
Will be interesting to see the new complete Euro released.. there are so many rumours flying around as to what it might look like.. and if it's that prototype one from the motorshow, my feelings are a bit mixed.

I think black looks better stock but graphite is better lowered with some bigger rims and maybe a kit too.
I agree theres too many Euros on the road but who really cares. Its a car, cars arent made to show your individuality. Its just a tool lo, its not like clothes that becomes one with your body its just a machine that you use but would be exactly same if somebody else drove it. And if you wanted theres many ways to differentiate your euros, get custom plates, do it up, etc.... Theres a reason theres many Euros on the road! its because its a good car!!

08-01-2007, 07:19 AM
There are heaps on the road i agree, but thats cos its a great car, being my first spanking new car, i was very careful about which car to buy, i like to buy cars that have been around a couple of years to see if reviews and if there are recalls and defects etc. i must admit i liked the aurion (as i need a family car) but since it just came out with hardly any reviews i didnt even really have it as an option, i know toyota has a awesome rep for build quality but you never know these days. I also like the reviews done after a couple of years as good reviewers will talk about how things are going after having one for a few years, we all see hyundais winning best car awards and same with holden and ford, yeh they have merits but i want to know how they are going 3-4 years later, when build quality and reliability come in. I dont have money to spend on a new car every 2 years so i want something that will last.

Na it depends where in Sydney you are. In my area Euro is the most common Honda, also more common than Camry or Commodore. Overall there is more Commodores and Camries since they been around for decades. But in last couple of years model I see Euro the most.
The most common cars(new models) on the streets is probably Euro, Mazda3, and BMW 3 series.
But really depends on the area. Last time I drove down south to the shire and there were hardly any Euros. But last time in Chinatown carpark I saw 8 Euros no exaggeration on the same floor. And I would guess there would be lots of Commodores out west.

Lexus' attempt to strike back in high performance. Impressive stats tho, but with that amount of money I think it will come out for, i'd prefer to buy an Audi RS4.. though.. that's a nice car :]

The IS 250 still has it's flare, but the new camry takes away it's charm for trying to be a lexus is250 look-a-like and i didn't see the mention of an IS350 coming to our shores yet either, unless i missed that.

I dunno but for me, in a driving position my head(mostly my hair) was scratching the ceiling. I had to recline the seat at a almost sleeping angle to get some head room. I spend quite long on hair and I really dont want to spend luxury money to have it messed up through driving.

I have test drove IS250 automatic before. Compared to my Euro, IS250 is far better in terms with build quality and ride really smooth. But at 1600kg and 155kw it's a pork and slower than my Euro. I gotta say I would love to own this car but can't afford it as yet :p
