hey there peepz..

ive got my spoiler painted Frost White at some place for $200

now i changed my mind and want to paint it black... im not sure wihch black would look best .. but im guessing Matt Black as i have heard that one before hehe..

now what my problem is i dont want to pay another $200 to get it resprayed black...

so im wondering if it is possible for a noob to DIY spray paint the spoiler to black?

i was at supercheap auto and saw cans of touch up paint for around $17ish..
i was thinking of just getting a can or 2 from there and spraying it on the spoiler myself...

should i try DIY.. or should i pay some pro to do it?

what you guys think?

can you do it without me taking the spoiler off?

bcoz i cant take the spoiler off..(i put silicone sealant around the screws on the inside to stop rain water from getting in via the gaps) so u gottta put newspaper and masking tape (which i have) around the car i think

yeh man easy.

Ill just put lots of newspaper around the bottom of the wing.

But We might have to take out ur engine to spray it clearer

Take off the spoiler. Reapply silicone again when you put it back on.

putting more silicon on- $4

painting black paint onto ur boot which might not be black and screwing the whole thing up- priceless

id take the spoiler off again, much better finish coz u will get into all the hard places and u will DEFNITLY know you wont get paint on the car

yeah recommend u take off the spoiler and do the paint

try it in the garage so u dont get too many dirt particles :D
