SRI on eg civic?

hi im lookin for an aftermarket SRI for my b16 civic and would like sum feedback from sum members hu hav installed a SRI in there civics. any info would b great, cheers in advance to any posts

i hav searched, i jus wanted sum feed bak of brands ppl r usin on their civics and if any good. last thing i want is to waste money cos i've seen a couple of SRI on the market and they are no cheap 'upgrade'

Theres alotta info if you search, just takes some time man. Apexi power intake is very good, but they're $$$. For a comparativly cheaper alternative just get a K&N pod from Autobarn - Essentially, all you'll be gaining is the induction roar at WOT and at VTEC. As for performance :thumbdwn: Better off with a stock box. Just remove your resonator box for a similar (albeit much quiter) sound at VTEC :thumbsup:

^^ as he said, remove the stock resonator and put a pipe from beneath your stock airbox to the front bumper.

Not only on an EG, but on other models like my Accord, there was no power gain when I put on the SRI as it was sucking in hot air from the engine bay. If you want just the sound, then go ahead. But don't expect any gains other than psychological power. :p
