Is it hydraulic or cable clutch? b series boxes are interchangeable. I've got a b16a box on my dc2 vtir. Just find out if its hydraulic or cable and ring around parts places. The other option is to recondition your box.

For a gearbox look around the $800 ish mark and see if you can get cheaper. More likely to get that from a forum member though, as parts places are more likely more.

your gearbox should be a cable clutch gear box, and u can look for the engine code on front of the block on the side of the exhaust manifold.

Yes, there is a bit of work involved in doing a conversion, so get the right type of tranny.

Can anyone recommend any places in melb to ring up and ask...
Ive already asked at Hondwreck and they wanted $1700 for a used gear box and clutch...

Am i rite to say that a new clutch, say a exedy heavy duty clutch cost around $600 - $700?? or is it the becoz its a honda it cost more situation??
