Hey guys

My engine is a D15B4 Dual Carby. The pink arrow points to the idle screw, but there is also another screw pointed to by the blue arrow that affects idle. Does anyone know what this screw is for?

Cool thanks
I noticed that the lever that the blue screw is attached to moves as i turn on/off the lights, A/C...etc. But I thought this was meant to be the task of the EACV?(increase rpm with increase load)

The EACV on the dual carbys do nothing but make it run rough. I have had to block the EACV on a few to get a good idle.

this honda carb setup is complex and weird, but when working well does a great job.

even tho it has an eacv it also has about 2 or 3 vacumme solenoid operated idle up sysems as well

Where is the screw for the fast idle located at?

To the right of the picture you can see the choke assy, do not touch any of the screws on it but where the choke cam pushes on the lever on the carb there is a screw you can adjust with a flat blade screw driver.

Ok. What screw is that for? Fast idle?
I'll take a pic of the right area when i can get my hands on a digital camera

In the pic is that another fuel filter connected to orange pipes?

Hey guys finally got around to taking a pic of the fast idle screw. If you turn off the engine then open the throttle a little you can use a flat blade screwdriver to adjust it.

I would say there should be several adjustments screws on your setup. However from the picture,

1. idle speed or stop screw (blue arrow).
2. carb shaft balance screw (to balance between the two carbs butterflies red arrow)

Cant remember off the top of my head but think its anti-clockwise. Turn it 1/4 turn, start car and check it. keep doing this until you get the RPM you desire

can i adjust it while the car is on?

You can but it is easier to open the throttle a little and you don't want the engine to get hot or you have to start all over again.
