im looking for extractors/exhausts

i got quoted 1700 bucks installed at hitechmufflers...is this ok price?

i have no idea about cars in general, like all the techie stuff.

I am in Sydney!

wondering if super and turbos for standard civics are a waste of money, but if you can, are there any places that do superchargers

Welcome & $1700 is way too expensive. I not sure if they make superchargers for D16s but turbo-charging is definetly possible.

$1700?? im in brisbane and i own a 95accord. mine cost me less than $1000 - that's ceramic-coated 4-2-1 extractors, cat converter, resonator and full exhaust (without muffler coz i already had one). so basically from the extrators all the way to the muffler (2.25in). im sure that prices in sydney would be cheaper. i suggest going through yellowpages.com and ring around, coz that's what i did.

i doubt performance wise it will get me much more, but exhaust will definitiely pimp my ride up LOL.
