vtec not loud.

hey guys i have a jdm b18c and the vtec doesnt seem that loud even with a airfliter in .. coudl it be possible its the intake manifold?

YES!. u can hear it , u can feel it everything just the noise of the crossover isnt loud as others.

personally i think b16a are louder/ more noticeable then a b18c unless its the type R motor

If its just a VTi-R motor then it wont be as loud as B16A and B18CR. Just put on a pod filter for more sound.

get a better exhaust.. that usually brings out the vtec sound as well

the thing is my exhaust is very quiet and has kinda same tone as the vtec aswell.

IT's not that loud in a integra vti-r (more refined). Whereas the b16a and the ITR's is much more noticable.

So either change your intake and/or exahust if you want the 'loud' factor.
