budget would be around 7k and would be a more of a drag car rather than track i would say

cost me 5k for a B18c convertion, included a new clutch, light weight fly and fluids...
I guess 2k left over for header exhaust intake and ecu + tune.
I managed a 14.2 with stock header, 2.5inch exhaust and powerfc.
I dont think 7k is enough for a B20vtec setup.

B18CR all the way. I should be able to get one into your car for that price.

Another opition is a LS/VTEC (B18a/b with B16a head fitted) or the CRV/VTEC
(B20b with the B16a head fitted) Check out this website that shows how both conversions are done: www.c-speedracing.com/howto.php

7000 you should be looking for an ITR half cut.

$7k would be enough to do a B20VTEC

We have only spent $7250 on a B20vtec with mods inc buying the car but we have done all the work ourselfs so no we had no labor costs. Un-tuned we got 125kw@wheels
