Hi everyone, just signed up and thought I would say hello.

I own a white 92 Honda Prelude which is currently undergoing a major reconstruction :p

I'm a 22 yo female who LOVES cars and everything that goes with it!

The last time I saw my car it was stock apart from 17" Starcorp wheels, window tint, air intake system and aftermarket stezza setup.

It is currently in Sydney having a nice big snail (T30) attached to a newer
F22a engine with custom rods, new clutch, custom exhaust manifold and many more new parts. Can't wait to get my baby back!

Anyways, just saying hi and hopefully will get to know some of you a bit better over time.

Cheers

- Jess

I drove her to Sydney on 25 October 06, hopefully should have her back by the end of January 07.

Mechanic is expecting somewhere between 200-250kws at the wheels

i have driven a civic with a 2.3litre and a smallish jackson super charger, supossingly had 220 at the wheels, it was hairy to say the least, crazy to control at full go, that was when i was a rear wheel drive man, so maybe i just wasnt used to the fwd

nice numbers tho, are you changing the tranny, clutch brakes etc.? reckon the stockers will hold up i know honda is realible thats its a massive step in power.

The brakes will be upgraded when it gets back to Tassie. The ones I have would be fine, but the way I drive I would prefer bigger ones lol

Everything that's needs to be upgraded is, apart from suspension and drive shaft, as the stock ones are fine, until I take it down the strip, then they will be upgraded too.

My new nick name down here is Torque Steer lmfao

Yer I started on the outside, have had a new front bar sitting in my loungeroom for ages now, but am thinking I might like the sleeper look with the standard front bar on there for a while.

Also I want to get the car fully resprayed, maybe a white with a blue pearl, so hoping to get the new front bar and the rest of the car done at the same time.

go is always good, i like a good looking car, but i see to many stock slugs with big wheels exhausts and rear wings, and they annoy me, i am a fan of a sleeper, but like a good look, nothing over the top tho.

Don't have any pics on the computer at work where I am now, also don't have any since the new engine and turbo setup has taken place, as the car is still sitting in Sydney waiting for the conrods to arrive.

I'll get some pics together tonight when I get home, tho the car is basically stock on the outside, nothin special, yet!

Sure is, I know some people who know some people who built a certain red CRX that runs at the drags.....*winks* lol

I wanted to make sure it was done properly, so I took it to the people who I believe are the best, if it's going to be done, it's going to be done properly the first time

online performance?

Prelude_chic92
02-01-2007, 03:16 PM
Yup Online Performance. I was chatting to Dave from there at Jamboree and another guy I know knows him really well, had his car done there also.

Plus, there isn't really anywhere in Tassie that has that much experience working with Honda engines, so it would be an experiment. It's costing too much to be an experiment lol

They did everything, all I had to do was tell them my budget and take the car over to them, they sent me a list of parts and prices with a quote, and I told them to go for it.

I haven't seen the car since I dropped it off on 25 October, can't wait to feast my eyes on the beast under the bonnet lol
