Hey again,

So i popped around to my dad's on the weekend and to my amaze there was a this sweet civic out the front. At first i just thought it was all the same but then from a closer look once i parked i noticed I've never seen this Civic Vi before !? First thing i noticed was the VTEC sticker on the back.I went inside and it belonged to my aunty I hadn't since in yonkers !

Its a really nice looking civic and somthing different with the VTEC under there im going to try and get my girlfriend on the end of buying one for her next car. Anybody has one of these let me know how it goes and whats its like for after market parts.

Im in Perth so are they just rare there or everywhere? the only decent info i can find is this http://autoweb.drive.com.au/cms/A_55078/newsarticle.html
any help would be great !

Engine-wise, it's nothing special. Just a d17 sohc vtec. The body is the same shape as that of the EP3 Civic Type R (except that the Type R has 2 doors), that's why it looks nice.

I used to own one of these and they're pretty cool cars! just do a lil search on forums n u'll find heaps of useful information..
just to help with the search, the engine's d17a2 for the vi model and the chassis codes EU3..

Hey buddy~

I used to own one too. It handles quite well, just a bit lack of power.
Get a set of good suspension (e.g. Koni yellow wif Eibach Spring) and bigger rims. It will look quite nice.

Yeah I think its late 03+ model even has the same taillights as the EP3R.

Could be quite nice as a K series should be pretty much straight swappable. Talk about sleeper...

Yeah i own one of the Vi's, 05' model its real spacey sometimes feels like ur in a bigger car haha. Feels very nimble when you drive it around. Just don't expect to try to make it faster cuz if u are thinking of doing it just get a faster car.

But yeah one of the best civics to date with fuel economy, My 05 civic has better fuel economy than my sisters 06 current civic, although Honda claims that the 06 has better fuel efficiency. Mod wise there isnt much you can do with it but change the rims/suspension and ICE.
