your car is not drastically different to any other car.
do a bit of research as far as what will fit, make a shortlist, THEN ask for opinions.
we arent here to do the searching for you, but are happy to help when youve done some research
coilovers>shocks/springs in both adjustabilty and versatility.
try some Ksport Kontrols (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=50705&highlight=ksport)

Most Jap brands do make coilovers specifically for the EF8 (your SiR). Tien have a model EF8/9 (I just sold mine) and I replaced them with Buddy Club Race Spec (also EF8/9). Changing LCAs to suit a locally avaiable coilover is an option, especially if you're LCAs are old and have worn bushings etc. I didn't take this option as I had recently had all my bushings replaced.
I haven't heard about Ksport Kontrols, but they look well built and the spring rates are pretty hard - 11/7 - (very close to my new coils at 12/8) and a few hundred $$ cheaper.
There are too many variables involved for anyone to tell you the ideal coilover for your situation. You might find 11/7 way too hard for your daily driving experiences. I personally find the spine jolting from such hard rates very theraputic ^^

you can use eg/dc2 coil-overs, you just need dc2 rear lca's

i think you just need the lca's u can use the stock front forks, the eg/dc2 ones are too long (i think)
Here is some discussion on the fitment of DC2R Coilovers onto EF8
http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56951
All you need is:
front fork
rear lca
but the rear camber will be off.. so u need the Rear UCA or maybe some camber kit
some say the front fork might rub on the driveshaft too at full lock..
if that makes sense to u
i think you just need the lca's u can use the stock front forks, the eg/dc2 ones are too long (i think)
there is so much mis information around..
anyone know if u can/should use the EF front forks?
i also hear that u can grind 2mm off the rear coilovers to fit the stock rear lca

I have tried this. Its possible.
There the same length only EG's have a wider girth to accomodate a bigger diameter shock.

Please keep in mind when using eg/dc2 coilovers that you will generally have a higher ride. you may find yourself adjusting the coilovers to their full extent in order to get a nice low appearance.

Yes the front forks.
Rears I'd reccomend you source some ITR or EG6 LCA's.
