Done some searches but cant find exact info im looking for about the aux input connection for the head unit on the standard '05 Euro.I'm fed up trying to find a frequency without interference for my portable mp3 player and FM adapter.
I want to just plug in a cable to my head unit and leave it there for when i connect up my mp3 player.
I dont even want to bother trying to buy an adapter that will let me control the player through the head unit and steering wheel controls.Just a simple cable to plug into is all i want.
Can someone tell me if the aux connection on the back of the head unit is a 3.5mm minijack connector,or a pair of RCA jacks(unlikely) or is it (more probably) some special 'one-off ' type Honda conector that requires a genuine part to connect to it.
Im also wondering how difficult/easy it is to get to.Do i have to pull out the head unit,or can i get to the jack/connector by just removing the console storage box and getting to it from behind?

at last i have install the ipod adaptor for my euro by honda dealer!! its exp cost me $600!! and when i use the ipod i need to press the aux button on the head unit! imo i think the aux button on the head unit is for connect the after sound system like my ipod adaptor!!

what brand is the head unit (who makes the stock one) as you can get some converters that make the head unit think there is a stacker, when there isnt, but it gives you a line input

There is no simple connection such as RCA or 3.5mm. You need to do a search for SNHOND3. See for example. They cost about $100+

Yeah, that is a shame if you didn't know. But if it makes you feel better the $100 option doesn't have steering wheel control (save for volume which still works of course). I still need to change artist on the MP3 player.
