Hi,

in preparation for installing my ES master kit I've got the front lower control arm off the car.

The lower shock absorber bush didn't put up much of a fight, courtesy of a big hydraulic press.

The forward LCA bush however felt like I would bend the arm itself before the bush came out.

Is there a trick to removing these?

Just to check, the outside shell of the oem bush is removed too, right?

Nick.

years ago when i had my backyard performance commodore i did mine by melting out the rubber with a blowtorch and cutting the outer tube carefully from the inside so it could be crushed

Yes, outside shell out for all except rear lca big one.

Unfortunately I had to pay someone to do mine. My shitty pressing efforts only got me so far.
