new forum suggestion

Hi all,

I was thinking that maybe we could have a new forum for recommended mechanics. I see that a lot of members are DIY gods but for myself (and some others) it would be very handy to have a forum that lists recommended mechanic in each states as well as their address and maybe we can also list/add the service performed, quality of work, price, staff friendly, et.c.. ?

For my part, I'm looking for a place in melbourne to do an engine swap and got no much replies.

what do you guys think ?

there are a good amount of DIY guys on this forum ~
but in the interest of privacy and legalities i think most guys here want to be "known" by word of mouth only.

try bao at modproject, i think you will find he's quite highly regarded from those that have any idea what they are on about
he's a trader on the forum so not hard to find

there's are few other good backyard mechs in melb but i'm not sure what they're doin these days. just ask around man and u'll find someone
