I'm at work at the moment dont have time using the search, How much hassle did u guys go through putting a b16a into a ED, i know about the EFI part. stuff like engine mounts etc etc

If you don't know much about engines, or what you're going.. hand it over to a mechanic.
You'll be much happier with the results.
There are a few walk-throughs to help you.

im doin the swap also.. cept, i am a mechanic and ill be doing it myself :D
as for crap chassis.. its actually not that bad :) lil suspension work and it'll handle great :)

when you mean ED i believe you mean a CRX i hope.
Well with a crx gen2 in particular teh process dont come any easier.

*HASPORT ENGINE mounts
*Shift linkage
*Hydro to cable conversion (optional)
*Driveshafts you can get em custom made or again HASPORT

as you can see she fits in beautifully. no real drama to have it registered as teh stock AUSDM CRX si comes as a 1.6 (d16a8) so to have it converted to vtec b16a there is no drama to include P/S some do say it rubs a lil on teh ribs of teh bonnet but that can be fixed!
with 1 of 2 ways
1) lift kit washers and raise the latches to accomdate the rise in teh engine.
or
2) cut the ribs your call....

there is a DIY in the DIY section, for ED9 B16a convertion, you just have to add fuel lines, loom, tank, fuel pump, fuel filter if you have carby'z
