ok guys i am looking for a run around for work and stuff do i dun use my other honda....anyways i have found a cheap 4th gen SI in premium condition old man owned it so it immac inside and out.....the only down side is that it has done 250,000k's he wants 5k 4 it...do u reakon its a good buy how much longer do u think i will get out of the engine b4 it needs a rebiuld

Depends on how the previous driver drove and maintained it. The engine could last from 150,000km to 400,000km before needing a rebuild

Have a look at it in person. If its already outputting black smelly smoke like a Ford Laser, then its gonna need a rebuild.

Also check that the clutch and synchros are in good condition.

thanx mate i am gonna go and see it just need to make some time to go....

if it does need a new engine would a be looking at roughly 1k for a h23 from a wreaker
