Hey people
I just sold my '04 Mercedes C200 because I drove Astro's (he's on this forum) DC2R and got hooked on the thrilling drive it offers as the Merc was boring me to death. However the DC2R was heavily modified and cuts a 1:12 at Wakefield (With respect to Astro behind the wheel)
Now I have not driven a stock DC2R and I have only driven a stock DC5R but prefer its interior and exterior looks but I want to go in a modified one to see if it can compare to the drive of a DC2, or it's just Astro's one that is crazy.
Is there anyone out there with a MODIFIED DC5 willing to let me drive or even just drive me around for about 1/2 an hour?
I am willing to reimburse with a full tank of petrol / cash / booze or similar we can work that out...
Thanks
try put your offer up on www.clubitr.com.au theres quite a few modified DC5R's on there. i would take up your offer but im in perth and my DC5R is not that modified

Mine is for sale in the for sale section, one of the top three quickest DC5's in QLD as far as i am aware.
I guess you could drive it if you are interested in purchasing it... The car has had over $40 000 spent on modifications. The only thing left to do is put in a cage and a 2.4L bottom end.

Go the DC2R...... Astros car is a perfect example of what can be done to them.....however with small mods they can be just as much fun!

Matt, cheers for the website.
CivicOnBoost, your car sounds very nice but you will probably want alot more then I'm willing to spend.
jords, yeah I'm still considering them but if a DC5 can be made to feel like Astro's I'd rather a DC5.

There is the link to my car, keep in mind you would be looking at 30k ish for the stock car. ANd there is no way you can compare a b series to the k series.

Beautiful car CivicOnBoost, but it's not really what I'm after.
I've borrowed a friends S2000 for the weekend and so far it's a beautiful car to drive.
I'm after a nice 'drivers car' that car be tracked every now and then.
I ended up driving another standard DC5R yesterday and I don't think it could hold a candle to an S2000.
i was in a similar situation when i got my dc5r, really liked the s2k but for what i was spending, the dc5r was in heaps better condition than the s2ks available at the time, they were 99's with pretty high k's and the dc5r's were 02-03 with much lower k's for generally less money. that helped make the decision for me anyway
