yeh mines a jdm front convert. parts are about 1.5k then add ontop of that the cost to respray.

there are actually quite a fair number of people who have converted their dc2's to jdm fronts now. Many of em will feature in the appearance gallery. But as FLY has said, parts should be about 1.5K on average, plus respray + installation costs. Installation can be done at any panelbeater/painter, although you will need to find a place that can, and knows how to weld the radiator supports on properly as well.

the only thing that needs to be done by a pro is the rad support, its between300~500 dollars, if the panels are the same colour you and a few mates can swap it over in a weekend for free, its like 20 or so 10mm bolts and a few clips

the cost of parts is around $1500, but it will be more if you want HID headlights which i highly recomend

JDM concept in the traders has/had NEW rad supports which makes it alot easier for your panel shop and cheaper for you

nothing is needed FOR the radiator support, you just need the radiator support itself.
Complete parts you'd need are the radiator support, fenders, headlights, bonnet, bumper, and grill.

If you want to know more about what you need etc, take a look at a few threads that have already been started long ago about this topic, as surely this has been asked many times

if you get a nose cut from the wreckers you get the rad support with it and everything else, bar the guards which they can probably supply. If you need a good panel beater to do this PM me and I'll hook you up.

Jeremy (Sydteg21), has told me that not only do you need the radiator support, but also that bar which goes across the radiator support, dunno what is called but assuming that its some sort of reinforcement bar... Can ANYONE WHO HAS DONE THE CONVERSION enlighten me on this issue?

He said that the front bumper will sit on this bar, not the radiator support... He has done a JDM conversion himself and told me this whereas no one seems to mention it in any of the threads that are related to this topic...

You fellas who have done the JDM conversion confirm this?

And also.. where can one purchase such item?

its the same process whether ur in melb or syd, or anywhere else. Just source the parts, get a radiator specialist to weld the radiator support on, and either fit the kit yourself or get a panelbeater to spray it for u.

the front bumper doesnt sit directly on the radiator support. It's used to line up the front parts though, so it is important that it is on correctly. Reenforcement bar can be re-used from your old bumper.

hey arron, the parts i have to get are: bonnet, fenders, headlights, grill, front bumper, rad support, front bumper reinforcement bar, front bumper support. note: front bumper reinforcement bar you can use your stock one, i have to change it since normal integra has the different one from ITR's. the one i said was hard to get is the front bumper support , the is the bar which front bumper directly sits on. that's the link , you can have a look, good luck man
