if u look one either the left back door or right back door, when u open it there should be a sticker on the wheel guard, where the door hinge locks on too.
look on the sticker, it tells u how much psi u should have for stock wheels.

ok ta, just found out

front - 220 kPa
rear - 210 kPa

which is 31 and 30 respectively....
might have to give some more air into the tyres but i really cbf...the foot pump is pretty tiring...LOL

here is the site i used if anyone is interested.

lol just go down to servo then
takes a quick 30secs to press the lever to pump

mine are always 32 all round.

why have each tyre at a different pressure ?

For drag racing at the strip i will deflate it to 15 PSI - using street rubber

i dunno why each tyre is different lol...
either they are losing pressure itself or my reader is bsuted.

yes your tyres deflate over time. Some deflate more than others.
Over time - say 4 months my rears have gone from 34 psi to 10psi and i hardly knew it

it's easy to find the pressures for stock tyres, what about all the guys here on plus one or plus 2 size tyres?

when i got my 205/45/16, they said to keep it between 38 to 45 psi. i usually pump them at 41 (halfway). yes, if you do pump them higher, ride quality is harder (duh).

i assume what brand tyre you have makes a difference as well - i am running goodyear eagle F1's

Umm 38 - 45 psi is damn high Sandra !
i have the same tyre size and the wheels techie here incharge of a performance tuning shop advised me to have it at 32.

45psi would be like a bastard bumpy ride !!!

I use 34psi on my Civic sedan... Dont use the recommended tyre pressure by the manufacturer as its only said to give u mininum road noise and confort. Its doing nothing for ur tyre wear, handling and traction. If done a few advanced driving courses and they have all reocmmended as a guide.

32psi, hatch/small car
34psi, small/medium sedan
36psi, large sedan/station wagon

These are guides only for stock profile tyres, but if u have something fancy, i say give a few pressues a go and see how ur fuel/road noise/tyre wear goes with em..

I tend to run 34 all round and 36 when going interstate - I've found more than that wears the tyres badly.
