Aim: Give New Life To old Rims
Required: 1 / 2 Days, Paint of your Choice, Sand paper, Degreaser/cleaning agent, *option* primer
So the Story Starts:
well, after trying to sell the rims, i decided that it wasnt going anywhere ,
so i figured best thing is to go ahead and spray em,
so heres a little write up over 2 weeks, "sundays is DIY day"
Step 1: Prepare rims for spraying, i got a sanding block and basically cleaned all the edges up and sanded anything which looked dodgy, then i used degreaser and soapy water and a brush / toothbrush and basically cleaned everything i could, lucky for me, i got a high pressure hose, for those out there who decide to do this DIY,
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont use the degreaser on the grass lol,
ive got alien crop marks all over my lawn now, and had to deal with my parents afterward, anyhow, after washing let them dry etc etc
The Products i got :

Cleaning / Spraying Rims... Problem = grass.

Step 2: after drying the rims, and there good to go, tape tyres up with masking tape
Step 3: umm im not sure weather other people do this or not,
but i decided to primer the rims before spraying, meh its what i do i guess
so basically u wanna keep clean coats, and keep it light, i used etch primer from auto one i think it was like 14 bucks or something, i had problems with the can clogging, so keep a rag near for blocking and keep a decent distance so u dont get spluts ...
heres the primed product:
TIP FROM JOYRIDE - If you have this problem, put your spray cans in a bucket of warm water for 20 mins before you spray the tyres. that way the paint doesnt get clogged up and become blotchy on the rims or get spurts from the nozzle.
Action!!!:

well that one was one sunday, just prepairing the rims,
i kept them in a decent place away from crap and let them dry for the week
2nd sunday
PAINT TIME
Step 4 : ok, colour selection, i was searching around and looking for paints which fit what i wanted, personally i dont really like gloss spray, looks cheap and nasty, and i dont want matt cause its matt? anyhoo
i found satin black, and it was real nice, in between matt and gloss, just a nice sheen,

i kept nice clean light coats keeping distance, and using the spray like there was an endless amount, i sprayed let it dry, came back and did another coat, i probably put around 4 - 5 light coats, and checked for missing sprays etc,
"option" i sprayed the inside of the rim also, same deal etc etc,
