In a recent trip to Japan i picked up some Tein HA shocks for my EF9.
From external appearances they appear to be in good nick.

For intrests sake however, has anyone been through the process of 'rebuilding' Tein shocks and if so how much did it cost you.

Give fulcrum a call, they supply and rebuild tein suspension :thumbsup:

Do you mean damping rate for those non adj? or the actual spring?

I did talk to TodaAU a fair while ago bout recoing some toda fightex i was quoted around $250 a corner plus any replacement parts that might be needed if broken. they would be shipped to japan for this to be done.

best speak to todaAU.
you may also be able to have them recoed in Australia somewhere for a cheaper price.

Yep TSR (the link posted above) do excellent service and have a good turnaround time, even for interstate customers (they are based in QLD).

But Nightrider if you want to revalve your shocks to Australian specifications, then speak to Fulcrum. I was quoted $200 a corner to get some HEs remade to the same specs as the locally distributed Teins.

Off topic, but I keep hearing the name Fulcrum pop up. I've actually got one of their older setups (under the Fulcrum brand) in my car (height adjustable). Got em' for an okay price. Anyone know about these and how much they would charge for a new set of stiffer springs?

Yes, they can.
Please note, we only recondition FIGHTEX Dampers that we supply.
If we did not supply them, we will not overhaul them.
