Hey guys, i am currently having a problem with my car idling at ~900 rpm on a cold start. My car is a twin carb. Depending on how cold it is outside after 2-4mins my car starts idling normal at ~1500 rpm until it warms up, on a warm morning my car idles normally on a cold start at ~1500 rpm. What do i have to adjust to get my car to idle from 900 to about 1500 rpm on a cold start?

- If you have a Carby engine (sounds like u do judging by ur username :p)

Have a look at this post: http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showpost.php?p=983781&postcount=3
Clean the carburetter as well to ensure the air and fuel are mixing efficiently

- If you have an EFI engine:

The FITV handles the 1500rpm idle when the engine is cold. Sounds like it may be clogged with excess coolant residue or the valve itself has malfunctioned.
Remove the FITV Module, then inspect it, clear away the crusty coolant buildup, and screw the valve all the way in. Here is a guide: http://www.emotors.ca/Articles/97.aspx (the valve is the white knob).
Give the Throttle Body a good clean while ur at it.

Sounds like you need to replace the choke assy
