Hey guys,

Just wondering who out there has replaced your old locking mechanism?

Mine's just crapped itsself and needs to be replaced. I figure I'll probably need a new one from a wreckers but I need to know how hard it is to do and what tools i'll need, coz if its gunna be too hard I'll have to take it to a mechanic coz i dont have many tools. Or if anyones had one replaced or anything before if you could tell (or PM) me how much it cost itd be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys

i think hes talking about door lock mechanism..
coz i reckon bonnet and boot(not necessarily tho) can be easily opened from inside.

its not to hard to replace, just fidly.

you need a phillips head screw driver, maybe some long nose pliers.

also 10mm socket and extention
