hello boys and girl
this just happened recently but when i turn, the backing of my recaro feels like its sliding from side to side, and its only getting worse. i took a quick look and the only thing i could see is a philips screw next to the turn knob, is there any way of fixing this? like a screw to tighten? any help is appreciated :)

Sorry I don't have a solution but nearly every recaro I have sat in has this problem,so your not the only one...
Hopefully someone has a fix for it.

mine shifts from side to side, but its moreso like a little clicking sound when i switchback in corners... the most it would move in myopinion is 5mm
i remember when i first got the car, i took it back to Honda dn they said that this shift is in the design
that movement is pretty much due to the flip forward design of the seats.
it happens on bith dc2r and dc5r deats.
it is part number 9 that wears out from lateral loads and being fliped forward and reclined, which is the round thing the philips head screw holds.

I have same problem with mine
yeah mine do it too, gets a little annoying on when driving hard.
im tempeted to get some fixed buckets, that should solve the problem :)
oh i almost forgot for a temporary fix you can try undoing the philips screw (part #10) and rotate the round section (#9) around untill the bit which is worn it away from the catch mechanism. this should make the problem go away until it gets worn again

ok thanx a tonne for the posts guys, i think i might just leave it seeing as its a common proplem, i tried the philip screw, its way to hard to take off, so i might just leave it b4 i worn the screw, ahahah
you'll prolly need to use an impact screwdriver to loosen that screw.
